DoCurious is partnering with schools to bring standards-aligned, hands-on Challenges to students. Instead of more time on screens, students complete real-world accomplishments they can be proud of, while helping to boost academic performance.
Our marketplace of real-world, goal-oriented Challenges can be aligned directly to academic standards, in class or as extracurricular activities. Students might take on a service project, learn a new skill, or build something with their own hands. In short, we use technology to help students discover meaningful experiences beyond the screen, not to keep them on it longer.
For schools, that's a distinguishing story, and one that speaks directly to the growing number of families weighing screen time in their decisions.
It's also not another system for your IT team to support or another burden on your teachers. There's nothing to install or maintain, and getting started takes just a login. DoCurious is a web-based platform built to support what you're already trying to achieve, inside or outside the classroom. You choose the scope, from a handful of students to one class or a whole grade, and the semester-long pilot comes at no cost.
We're already piloting DoCurious with two educational organizations in South Carolina, and we're looking for a limited number of additional schools and educational organizations to join us.
"As a school administrator, I couldn't be more thrilled to bring DoCurious to our students! Watching our kids deeply engaged in hands-on, curiosity-driven learning, building independence and true collaboration completely away from screens, is inspiring. DoCurious is helping us cultivate a lifelong love of learning, one active project at a time." - Principal, Holy Trinity Catholic School
